Join us for an evening of philosophy in Reykjavik on October 1st!
The first Skelin Festival of Applied Philosophy took place in Thingeyri in the Westfjords of Iceland on August 9 – 10, 2024. The philosophers Salvör Nordal, Ketill Berg Magnusson and Øyvind Kvalnes invited participants to two days of Socratic reflection.
The event attracted people from a range of cultural and professional backgrounds, united by philosophical curiosity.
This year, the philosophical trio will host a miniature event based on the same ideas as the festival. They will invite participants to explore current societal challenges through a philosophical lens. There will be short conceptual introductions, followed by Socratic dialogue.
The Skelin Evening of Applied Philosophy will take place in Reykjavik on Wednesday October 1st.
